Physiotherapist
Haroon is a physiotherapist with a particular interest in treating muscle and joint pain, musculoskeletal injuries, and conditions affecting the Neck, shoulder, back, hip, knee and ankle. He also provides rehabilitation for work-related injuries, injuries sustained in motor vehicle accidents, and recovery following surgery, helping patients work towards returning to their daily activities, employment and exercise.
Haroon places active listening at the centre of his care. He takes time to understand each patient’s concerns, the challenges they face and the goals that matter to them. Through thorough assessment and clear, practical explanations, he helps patients understand their condition and feel informed and involved in their recovery.
His approach combines tailored exercise programmes, hands-on therapy where appropriate, and education on pain management, activity modification and gradual return to activity. Treatment focuses on improving movement, rebuilding strength and developing confidence, with practical strategies patients can use beyond the clinic. He values collaboration with GPs and other treating professionals to support coordinated care.
Haroon is an AHPRA-registered physiotherapist who completed his Doctor of Physical Therapy at Multan Medical and Dental College in Pakistan. He also holds a Master of Health Administration, Policy and Leadership from Murdoch University, Western Australia. He gained broad clinical experience working in two tertiary care hospitals in Pakistan, treating patients across the outpatient, orthopaedic, neurological, surgical and intensive care departments. Working with people of different ages and diverse rehabilitation needs has shaped his comprehensive approach to assessment and treatment, with attention to how each person’s condition affects their movement, independence and quality of life.
Haroon speaks English, Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi. Outside the clinic, he enjoys gardening, gaming and cricket. He is available on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 8:30am – 4:30pm.
